Is the Bitcoin bull run over? Has it just started? What do past cycles tell us? More importantly, what does structure tell us?
Half a decade ago, the #KSModel (now #CTKSModel) was the first crypto model to recognise the psychology of price action.
It divided #Bitcoin's price action into three distinct phases: bullish, bearish, and consolidation phases, with a focus on comparing similar price psychologies.
Although it's common to hear this now, it wasn't in 2020. People often compare price action in a bear market to that in a bull market; this is a statistically invalid comparison as it produces misleading results.
In a bull market, prices increase significantly; in a bear market, prices decrease significantly. The psychology couldn't be more different. Price does not compare across these psychologies.
