It's surprising that a month + into this horrific war some Western commentators continue to refer to 🇺🇦 as 'The' Ukraine. 'The' Ukraine signifies 🇺🇦 as a borderland lacking sovereignty and plays into 🇷🇺 narratives that 🇺🇦 is not a state. #StandWithUkraine #LanguageAsPower
