In celebration of the 100th Day of School, our K students are feeling 100 Days BRIGHTER, wearing fluorescent colors & being greeted by a super-glowing classrooom! Our 2nd grade students completed 100 minutes of service & used 100 objects for STEM activities.

They toured an underground mine & learned about the rocks & minerals following their unit on geology!

Middle school Nest groups worked together to construct a tower from spaghetti that will support one large marshmallow at the top. The group that builds the highest free-standing tower wins the competition, and our highest structure was 81 cm!

2nd grade is connecting Science to their Early Asian Civilization unit in STEM with Mrs. Hudgins. After learning about the the invention of paper & print blocking by the Chinese, students learned about the scientific process of paper making & then made their own!
