The National Education Collaboration Trust has launched the Limpopo #LearningImprovement Programme, which will be rolled out to help address the decline in learning outcomes across the province where some schools achieve mathematics and literacy marks as low as 20 to 30%. The organisation dedicated to supporting government achieve the education goals launched the programme during an event held in Tzaneen on Sunday, and NECT CEO Dr Godwin Khosa says Education MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya is eager to roll out the programme at the beginning of the 2026 academic year. Khosa says they have briefed district officials and circuit managers and time will be taken to also brief the curriculum advisors and teacher unions ahead of time. MDM
