24/ Lastly, there are ACT/INACT systems (S^A = A, S^P = P). They are sometimes called “split S” or “semantic alignment”. Here are examples from #Imonda (Papuan). In Imonda all verbs of movement trigger an active marking and all other verbs an inactive one.
7/ Differential subject marking (DSM) appears in #Lezgian and is apparently conditioned by volition. In the first sentence below Zamira broke the pot on purpose and is marked with ergative while in the second sentence they did not is marked with adelative (a kind of ablative).
