My own personal weird encounter with Liam Gray around Dinoking? Some years ago he was on a live stream claiming that he drew Dinoking by hand. He then said that the book originally read right to left Manga style, but decided to change the book to read from left to right so he had to hand cut out all the panels and glue them to new pages. As a comic creator this was fascinating to me. I asked him if I could see the pages right there live. He said he would look for them, turned on a copyrighted cartoon and stood next to his computer casting a chubby shadow on his bookshelf until his stream went down. He brings the stream back up a couple minutes later and mumbled about not finding the pages and quickly moved on. From that weird encounter I had serious doubts that Liam drew Dinoking, but I could never prove it so I moved on. I had no idea that this would be his ultimate undoing as a creator.
