Heads up to "C++ Game Engine with #libSDL" students: The #SDL_TTF website (the one with the Windows binaries) is no longer live! I think the source was moved to GitHub, but I can't find the link to the binaries anymore. Really sorry about this. I'll try to find a fix asap. 🙁

One aspect of teaching programming that is painful is cross-platform code. Every student has its own custom hardware, its own OS, its own weird packages installed with env variables set. That being said... #libSDL makes life a whole lot easier. ❤

A student from my raycasting course was experiencing screen tearing and incorrect double-buffering with #libSDL and macOS. It turns out the fix was to simply enable VSYNC in the SDL renderer. If you also have screen tearing when you move around the map, try this:
