At #LlamaCon 2025, @PSchmiedmayer, Patrick Langer, and Thomas Kaar presented our poster on “Medicine on the Edge: Comparative Performance Analysis of On‑Device LLMs for Clinical Reasoning,” based on work led by Leon Nissen et al. Our team benchmarked the leading on‑device inference models for healthcare, demonstrating that fine‑tuned LLaMa variants deliver state‑of‑the‑art performance directly on mobile and embedded devices - enabling private, offline AI‑driven diagnostics right out of your pocket.
It was fantastic to connect with fellow researchers and AI enthusiasts - exchanging ideas on model optimization, hardware acceleration, and novel healthcare applications. We look forward to building on these collaborations and driving the next generation of edge‑powered medical tools.
