The Peony is a Cinderella flower. 👸 It goes from drab to fab in a short timespan. For two months, the peony's golfball sized buds expand, petal by petal, into flowers three times larger. 💗 💗 #lpconservancy #sweetgnomechicago #peonygarden #springflowers

The "Panama Queen" is a rare type of #Aphelandra from, you guessed it, Panama! Its fiery orange, pink flowers look like a Carnival headdress. Our Queen requires constant moisture and is watered daily in The Palm House. #lpconservancy #PanamaFlora #RareFlora #TropicalPlants
