Last week, CEO Tyler Groeneveld and members of our Board were in Ottawa meeting with MPs, senior officials, and decision-makers to continue building momentum behind #MakeItHere.
The conversations were encouraging. Across government, there was strong recognition that food and ingredient manufacturing is critical to Canada’s economic future — creating jobs, strengthening supply chains, driving investment, and building resilience.
We also hosted a breakfast discussion featuring @CTV @GrahamRichardson and @agtfoods’ Murad Al-Katib, who helped bring the Make It Here opportunity to life and reinforce the scale of what Canada can achieve.
Canada already produces crops that are of the highest quality in the world. The opportunity now is to capture more of the value here at home.
