We have some wonderful mathematicians in #Year12TPA! We made a range of numbers and used our key vocabulary to explain how we knew this was true☺️ #MathsTPA

Wow, the mathematicians in #Year12TPA never fail to amaze me! As we explored fact families and addition, Miss Wilson incorporated a new key word - ‘commutative’.😁😁 #MathsTPA

This morning we have worked incredibly hard in our maths lesson to use a number line to 10. We took our learning outside and drew our very own number lines so that we could practice counting on. We even made one as a team to create a human number line!☺️#Year12TPA #MathsTPA

#Class12tpa Year 1 have been working with numbers 50 - 100 today. They played a game in pairs to roll the dice and move along the 100 square to see who could get to 100 first. They demonstrated excellent teamwork. #mathstpa

Where has Miss Wilson gone?! We have practiced our column addition and subtraction as our review today. To develop our oracy, we articulated the steps we were taking to our peers and overcame misconceptions together☺️ #MathsTPA #Year2TPA

In Maths, the Y1 children in Class 1/2 have been practicing making and describing turns. We started outside turning ourselves and different natural objects. We then turned different shapes and tested each other. #MathsTPA #Class12TPA

Today #Class12tpa had a very practical maths lesson measuring capacity. They used different sized containers and found out how many cubes it took to fill them. Then they used different scoops and pots to fill their containers with water. #MathsTPA

#Year3tpa, had a visit from Ruth at MyBnk who was teaching us all about ‘wants vs needs’ and how to make our money and wages go further. We were surprised how quickly money can be spent on ‘luxuries’. #PSHETPA, #Mathstpa, #Lifeskillstpa.

In Maths, #Year3tpa have been measuring in centimetres and metres. We took our learning outside to measure the gardening shed, the bench, tyres and the lending library. First, we predicted their length or height then measured the actual to compare our findings. #Mathstpa.

Sometimes we just need to pause and go over the basics. Number formation practise. The children are enjoying challenging themselves to go beyond 20. #year1tpa #mathstpa
