Between the years 2017-2022 I decided to fall of the wagon and take a left turn instead of the right turn and convinced myself that I can drink and drug like a normal person with having 7.5 years of sobriety under my belt. This decision was because turned my back on the community I had. Sure, my life didn’t fall apart right off the bat but sooner than I knew, I was stuck back in the grips of my disease. I managed to destroy everything in my life and to make this story shorter, I wound up in jail, broken and defeated. I knew this was my calling to go back to what I once knew and that was recovery
