Over the past seven years, I've heard many first-hand accounts of David Miscavige, the leader of Scientology and Tom Cruise's best friend, beating Sea Org members (Scientology's workforce). But there are two stories involving elderly men that don't involve beating that I find so upsetting and emblematic of how deeply cruel Miscavige is. 1. One time, he spent hours bullying and harassing Heber Jentzsch, a man who was then in his 70s and the former president of Scientology, and he ended it by squirting contact lens solution in Heber's face and pouring coffee mate powder all over his face. 2. He went up to Norman Starkey, now 80 years old, and turned up his hearing aids so loud that they emitted a high-pitched sound into his ears. David Miscavige is a sick, sick man. And this is why I put up with all the Scientology harassment and how they've upended my life...because this can't continue.
