#MobAI is group work following the Mob format defined by Woody Zuill, where one or more people are assisted by AI tools.
The term #MobAI was introduced by Joe Justice in the expert course #JoeDX on May 15, 2023.
The #MobAI role uses AI to research, make suggestions, and ultimately add automation. The Navigator role reviews the suggestions and selects the next task. The Driver role executes the Navigator's choices by focusing on the tool.
QnA today covered many common misconceptions about agile, and then focused on #MobAI and #PsychologicalSafety. It was an unusually good Certified Scrum Master class QnA. Select questions are posted here, with my answers, in English and Japanese:

"業務（勉強会）でモブAIをやってみたけれど、そもそも一部メンバーはやっていることの情報に追いつけないとか、前提知識がないからドライバー以外できない���かの理由でフルで参加できないメンバーが出てきます。こういったメンバーに対する打ち手はありますか？
We have tried mob AI in our work (study group), but some members are not able to participate fully because they can't keep up with the information on what we are doing in the first place, or they don't have the prerequisite knowledge and can't do anything other than drive. Do you have any suggestions for these members?
A: This is common in the beginning! I still recommend it! Some tips! 1) Make sure not to skip rotations, everyone navigates, drives, and is MobAI, for the same length of time! 2) Make sure the rotations are long enough for each driver to experience success, you might need to use up to 15 minute rotations to calm down each driver, gently instruct them, and guide them to success. 3) The team must be relaxing, welcoming, calm, and projecting psychological safety so those less skilled can ENJOY joining the mob! RESULT: after 10 hours of MobAI, maybe over 2 to 10 days, the skills will be increased for EVERYONE. Teaching is the best way to learn, but being taught in a kind way is next best. After 100 hours the skills and overall speed and product quality will be completely superior to before MobAI.

Most companies, engineers have work assigned to them, work alone, and multitask. #MobAI companies engineers pull their work, work in groups, and work on one problem together until it's solved. In Tesla, engineers often sat IN the cars, 3, 4, or 5 engineers, passing a laptop around.
It is the same. #MobAI is a game I made to introduce the work style I experienced as a Tesla employee and similar to what I saw on my visits to SpaceX. And now it’s in DOGE. Results will likely come fast. Minutes not months.
