"Approved awaiting visa availability" is a common status in the U.S. employment-based green card (immigrant visa) process.
What It Means
The I-140 petition has been approved by USCIS. This is the first major step: USCIS has reviewed your (or your employer's) Form I-140 and determined that you qualify for the employment-based green card category (e.g., EB-3).
However, you cannot yet get your green card because no visa number is currently available for you.
This is due to annual numerical limits (caps) and per-country limits on green cards in each preference category. Demand exceeds supply in many categories, creating backlogs.
Why This Happens
Employment-based green cards are divided into preference categories (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, etc.).
There is a fixed number of visas available each fiscal year per category.
There are also limits per country (roughly 7% of the total visas in a category).
Countries with high demand (India, China, Mexico, Philippines) have very long backlogs.

The big lie has always been that mass immigration is an economic benefit to the country.
As with every other aspect, that is simply not true. Mass immigration is a massive net negative for our economic and social well-being.
We need a #MoratoriumNow until we have had an #ImmigrationReferendum and given the people our say. We can ensure the #Remigration of all illegals and criminals with such a vote.

Migration Watch need to toughen up. You produce good information but you are being left behind and in some areas replaced by those who are serious about maintaining the ethnic and cultural identity of these islands.
