Let the record show my journey through SPORT over 50 years.
👉🏼At the age of 15, in 1977, I was women’s national champion and record-holder of #Bolivia 🇧🇴 (was born there) in #trackandfield .
👉🏼In the 1980s, I was NCAA D1 “All American” 🇺🇸 scholar-athlete (Phi Beta Kappa) and national champion of #Canada 🇨🇦 (#heptathlon) .
👉🏼In the 1990s, I earned my PhD in Kinesiology (sports science) and international coaching certification as @WorldAthletics (IAAF) “lecturer” - instructor of other coaches around the world 🌍. [Including the first ever coaching course for women in #Iran 🇮🇷 ]
👉🏼In 2000s I coached a pair of athletes to Olympic Gold and, at the same time, developed training programs for hundreds of talented boys & girls across Canada.
👉🏼In 2010s I was elected president of Athletics Alberta (#Alberta) in an era that forced me to contend with insane Trudeau-era national policy surrounding the dogma that allows males into female competitions.
👉🏼In 2020s I wrote a book and I continue to advocate earnestly for safety and fairness in sports.
