This is why I like #MPAL.
1. The UK has an ageing population and so an expanding care home sector = a growing market for MPAL.
2. The NHS faces continued financial pressures, which is supportive of not only outsourced contracts that are faster, more accurate, and cheaper but also patients taking things into their own hands through health monitoring and AI-led diagnosis = a growing market for MPAL.
The weight loss sales drive, which could be exciting, comes on top of this.
They aren't guaranteed to succeed, but my initial approach is that there is plenty of SP growth to be had before I need to reassess, even with additional dilution baked in.

It will be interesting to see how much stock/market share Medpal AI were able to acquire. The level of wider market interest and the existence of substantial waiting lists says it should be material.

#MPAL looks like a really interesting company. It's quite remarkable what they have achieved since the IPO. I do hope they don't stretch themselves too far (potential Germany expansion stated), but they now have considerable dispensing capacity to fill (my count is +400k per month).
Yesterday's deal looks like an excellent opportunity to do just that.

Reading through all the updates, I get the impression this company doesn't stay quiet for long. This is likely in part because the CEO has considerable AIM/smaller markets form and so understands the game, but also because the final destination here looks likely to be a sale of the company. I am happy to hang on to those entrepreneurial coattails and study how this all plays out.

Taken an initial position in #mpal.
It’s a really interesting business led by management who look to be in a big hurry. Something that I recognize needs to be managed properly.
At 3.5p entry I’m getting in at the recent significant raise level with all the growth it and the recent acquisitions/deals can deliver now about to come.
Will it be their last raise? No likely not but 40% growth in placing price since the April raise also tells a story.
It will be interesting to see how prescriptions grow over the next few months especially with expanded care home access on the cards. But more importantly could be the weight loss sales. With 6x revenue growth expected next year clearly management expects rapid growth. If they do then the returns could be excellent from 3.5p.
