Ocean Conservationist Marjolein taught guests on @HurtigrutenEXP #MSOttoSverdrup about whale diets! She explained the difference between baleen & toothed whales & demonstrated how whale skulls differ from land mammals. Realistic bone clones were perfect tools to show the guests!

Orca sightings in the relative south means the winter herring is migrating! Guests on @HurtigrutenEXP #msottosverdrup were lucky & saw three orcas just beneath Lofoten. Recording data like this gives us insight in the migration of both orca & herring.
