Two things I almost always do when I’m invited to #speak: 1. Use slides (and/or props) for the audience to benefit from the power of #multisensoriallearning (the more senses you use to receive information the more likely you are to retain it), and 2. Bring greetings from my primary community and number one team, my #family. Combined, they become an instant icebreaker as people immediately, instinctively begin to literally count the number of children on the screen (yeah, some even add my wife! Good on her! 😅) But I don’t often reveal WHY our familyplan has always been seven children. On this occasion I did (don’t know why).
