Look at me. I’m a Cape Cod liberal. I don’t have to chain my bikes to cement or lock my doors at night—because diversity is something I vote for, not something I live near. I support open borders from the comfort of my historically preserved colonial. My kids attend “inclusive” schools where everyone’s named Cooper or Maeve. I talk endlessly about systemic injustice, then retreat to my 98% white ZIP code to decompress with restorative yoga and a $17 smoothie. The nearest Black person is on the New York Times opinion page I didn’t read and I like to post about redlining while sitting on inherited property that I pretend I earned. I’m not racist though I just like “good schools” in “quiet neighborhoods” and if you label me a hypocrite, I’ll accuse you of hate speech.

Look at me. I’m a Hamptons liberal. I believe in progress—but not if it alters the historic district. I summer in a 7,000 sqft “cottage,” where I post about climate change from my wraparound teak deck beside a gas-powered fire-pit overlooking an infinity pool that’s slowly leaking into a freshwater aquifer. I think racism is bad, actually… but I also think Bridgehampton has gotten a little too exciting lately. That said I just love diversity, in theory, if it stays west of the Shinnecock Canal and north of the highway. I love to host fundraisers for causes I don’t understand, attended by people I can’t stand, to fight problems I’ll never face. The only working-class person I’ve spoken to all summer is the Ecuadorian guy who trims my hydrangeas—and I make sure to tag him in my stories to prove I’m “connected to the community.” The El Salvadorians are such noble people, as long as they leave by 5 p.m. and don’t use the outdoor shower. I call everything “sacred” except tradition and everything “sustainable” except my lifestyle. But don’t call me out on it. Because if you do, I’ll call you problematic and divisive or worse… a Republican.

This needs to be investigated. But when Detective Helen Grus tried to investigate the tragic increase in baby deaths following the C19 vaccine rollout in Ottawa, the investigation was squashed and she was put on trial (ongoing). WTH is going on? What kind of society covers-up the death of babies? What kind of monster advises pregnant women to take an unnecessary experimental drug? What kind of sick government dishes out punishment to those who don't?
