Over the last two months, 10 bodies or sets of human remains have been located in New Haven, Norwalk, Groton, Killingly and now Rocky Hill, Connecticut; Foster, Rhode Island; and Framingham, Plymouth, Springfield, and now Taunton, Massachusetts.
Most of the bodies have been identified as female.
But LE says NO SERIAL KILLER 😳

Another police department is once again dismissing the possibility of a serial killer operating in the Northeast. In my opinion, it’s far too soon to completely rule out that possibility.
When you look at the maps, it’s hard not to at least consider the idea. While it may be true that the two cases they’re addressing don’t point to that venue, what about the other 6 discoveries in such a short time?
This is exactly how serial killers have managed to evade capture for so long — by slipping through the cracks while authorities are quick to dismiss early warning signs. Just my opinion.

🚫Police Deny Serial Killer Rumors Following Discovery of Remains in Connecticut!🚫
New Haven police firmly denied any such claims in connection to the death of Denise Leary.
Leary, was reported missing on September 30, 2024. Her remains were discovered last month, just a short distance from her home.
📌“We are aware of speculation on social media suggesting a serial killer was involved in Denise Leary’s death,” said the New Haven Police Department. Officers noted they have recently fielded inquiries from national outlets like People Magazine and Rolling Stone regarding Leary’s case.
Authorities also revealed that the speculation has escalated to the point where an individual from Florida traveled to New Haven, knocking on doors in Leary’s neighborhood and reaching out to her family seeking information about any connections to other remains found throughout New England.
“To the people who are avidly investigating: we’re hiring. Feel free to come apply,” joked Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police Department.
Following an autopsy, police confirmed that Leary’s cause of death remains undetermined, but importantly, no signs of foul play were found.
“There’s rampant speculation on social media, but there’s no factual basis behind it,” said Officer Bruckhart. “We deal in facts. There is no evidence supporting the idea that Denise Leary was murdered. We understand the public’s interest, but this woman had a family who loved her. They deserve time to grieve in peace.”
The investigation into Leary’s death remains active, but police emphasized there is currently no indication of criminal activity surrounding her disappearance or the discovery of her remains.
The heightened concerns come amid multiple discoveries of human remains across New England in recent months, including in Groton and Danielson, Connecticut, as well as in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In total, police agencies are investigating eight separate cases involving remains found during March and April.
Connecticut State Police are leading the investigation in Danielson and stated, “This investigation remains active and ongoing. There is no information at this time suggesting any connection between the cases.”
J. Paul Vance, a retired state police lieutenant and law enforcement analyst for WFSB, reinforced the message, saying, “No one should jump to conclusions. These investigations take time. If there is a legitimate public threat, authorities will make it known.”
Vance also explained that agencies are actively sharing information and comparing details for any potential links, but no evidence has emerged to suggest a broader pattern.
In Groton, police identified the remains found near the entrance of Colonel Ledyard Cemetery as those of 58-year-old Suzanne Wormser. In that case, police arrested 68-year-old Donald Koffell, who was known to the victim. He is being held on a $1 million bond. Authorities emphasized that this was an isolated incident and not connected to any broader threat.
Responding to online rumors, Groton Police Chief Fusaro warned, “Jumping to conclusions can create unnecessary hysteria. Be a good witness: if you see something suspicious or dangerous, call 911 immediately.”
“It’s just really eerie to see all this happening so close to home,” said Brynn Holmes, a Groton resident. #TrurCrime

Massachusetts DA Addresses Escalating Fears After 8th Body Found in New England
With the discovery of an 8th body, fear is mounting across New England. In response, Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni is urging the public to remain vigilant—not only in their personal safety but also in how they engage with information online.
Gulluni emphasized that the rapid spread of misinformation and unverified claims on social media can seriously disrupt ongoing investigations and fuel panic that may not reflect reality.
As of Friday, authorities have not found any evidence linking the deaths of the eight victims. The cause of death for the latest victim—a woman found in Springfield—remains under investigation. The local medical examiner is currently conducting an autopsy to determine more.
“We are actively pursuing every lead and deploying all available resources,” said DA Gulluni. “At this time, there is no indication that these incidents are connected or part of a broader public safety threat.”
He expressed his condolences, adding, “Our hearts go out to the families grieving these tragic losses.” Gulluni reiterated the importance of factual reporting and public caution when sharing information online.
Authorities are calling on the public to assist with any information that could help.

#NESK #NewEnglandSerialKiller active and on the loose and targeting woman in the NorthEast?
Multiple women have been found dead across MA, CT & RI. People online are calling the suspect “NESK” — the New England Serial Killer.
No official confirmation yet, but if law enforcement has reason to believe these deaths are connected, they owe it to the public to speak up. Silence doesn’t protect anyone—it puts more people at risk.
We can’t ignore the patterns. We can’t afford to stay quiet.
Take precautions. Watch your surroundings. Share information.
This is getting too real. It’s terrifying.
If there is a serial killer out there—can NESK really get away with it in 2025, with all the technology and surveillance we have? And if so… for how long? The fear is spreading.
