#newyearstezolution is my first collaborative project and I set it up to make sure my friends get paidππΏπ€ππΏ
The Weight of Love In Wait of Sex, is the last self portraiture project I'm introducing for a while. . . πππ
And Ethereal Noir will stop at 50 cuz I honestly haven't done a fraction of what I want to with that one
BUT π
#SensoryCheck is the project I put the most effort into to date and for those who were paying attention I went h.a.m. in trying to get eyes on it
I view the work we all create as a revolving door and these stuck up, prejudice people who decided that everything has to sell and you should burn art if it's been listed too long are complete π€‘
#SensoryCheck is about censorship and regardless of how far any of you think we have gone, there's still a lot of hatred, repression, ignorance, sexism, etc etc that comes along with making nude art
Now try being a Black male in a market where the only people buying are White men and the people selling are skinny White girls.
You mad? Good and go fuck yourself.
Now for those who have a heart and more than half a brain, I have a long way to go and I never wanted to start a movement, lead a cause, be a "disruptor" π, that corny ass word saying
All I wanted to do was sell some art that came with a genuine message and displayed a whole lot of effort to convey how much this means to me
Sooooo π
I am 100% back in #SensoryCheck mode π«‘ ππΏπ€ππΏ
The model is this
List open edition @ 1κ©
Total number of sells determines the price of the standard edition and how many editions are minted, i.e. if the OE sells 100 ( yeah right π ) then the standard would be 10κ© but have 100 editions, move that decimal to be fair. Capped at 10κ©, yall get it.
And then when the standard sells out, and only when the standard sells out
The 3rd installment is released as a 1/1 for auction
If I were a popular child this would have flew off the stove top like collard greens in a ghetto
But I do this thing where I tell the truth all the time and don't follow behind people. . .π anyways
So as it stands this joint sits at 3/9
Seriously people, 3/9 @ 9κ© for an artist who has never sold out an edition or collection. . .π½
So yeah, I'm running back all my #SensoryCheck propaganda and WE gonna get this done
*disclaimer*
I have not, and will not, begin to edit the third installment until the second had sold out π«‘
As an artist I want it to be an accurate representation of my mindset and where I was in life at the time I edit, score, design, the final piece.
If you really read all this screenshot the last sentence and I'll get you back for ya time lol
Sincerely, the last Black man not scared of being angry in front of White people cuz who gives a fuck about what they think any way. . .

Instead of going crazy with cynical jokes and takes on everything I'm seeing and trying to highlight all the creepy and manipulative stuff still going on, I'm going to start early and not do that but passive aggressively in this post π
