B2 Eng10h looked at the MA ELA CCSS for argumentative writing. We developed this checklist for peer review today. The good news: we feel ready for argumentative writing on #newmcas #nextgenmcas

Today, B2 Eng10H hustled through looking at #newmcas #nextgenmcas samples from DESE without scores/commentary. Using a rubric, they had to assign scores to them. I heard FANTASTIC commentary from groups about what writers were doing well and where writers struggled.

B2 Eng10H is working on a second day of trying out the #newmcas #nextgenmcas released practice items. We already have questions! 1. What is an editorial? Does it mean I use my opinion? 2. How to I cite quotes when I have multiple sources? 3. Do I use third person or first person?
