During an interview with the BBC, following the killing if journalist Mohammad Salama and 14 others in an Israeli strike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, British surgeon Nick Maynard, who has been visiting Gaza regularly on Medical missions, rejected the Israeli military narrative that “they are to investigate and they do not intentionally target people who are not involved in the conflicts,” saying “those statements hold no weight these days.” Maynard also added that Israeli forces have been “deliberately targeting hospitals and health workers” and urged the BBC to “recognise that as well.”
