Performance is important.
What if you have a huge amount of nodes? It should feel as if nothing is happeling.
I do notice it with the browser of course, with al the text rendering I suspect. But still, it feels pretty fast.

In Nodezator's dev branch: changed the magnetic sockets feature to make it closer to what I envisioned originally: the nodes had hands and would help you by grabbing the new connection for you.
The hands are CC0 assets from the excellent @KenneyNL

It makes much easier for users to edit graphs, because they don't need to have the mouse exactly over a socket to interact w/ it. Instead, a nearby socket is detected whenever a relevant action takes place. #Python #nodeeditor
