OPTICS matter. And with the Vice President and Secretary of State standing several feet behind him, wearing masks, it’s clear they don’t intend to change anytime soon. Stupid and unnecessary. Sends a signal of weakness and timidity… #NotBasedOnScience
Hospitals have been some of the worst offenders in making up rules that are #NotBasedOnScience - in some kind of twisted & misguided effort to look like they are going the extra mile to "do their part".
Instead they have wasted tax dollars and increased stress & fear.

Hospital visitor restrictions are random, #NotBasedOnScience, & not based on provincial guidelines.
Two family members drive together to a hospital & have to visit one-at-a-time while the other waits in the car, visits on every other day...all ridiculous.

2) Masks & eye protection IN healthcare settings not adhering to pre-2020 evidence-based infection control guidelines.

Testing someone & having a "positive" result in the absence of clear clinical correlation (esp. mass testing) is:

- goes against basic principles of public health,
- creates society-wide panic,
- bankrupts both gov't & citizens, &
- is negligent & reckless.
