And complaining to Ofcom is absolutely your right. Let Ofcom assess it. But perhaps spare us the suggestion that robust questioning itself proves political activism, particularly when GB News has spent years giving serving politicians prominent presenting roles. Not to mention the clearly biased antics of the likes Jeremy Kyle and Alex Philips as of late. Ofcom actually found five GB News programmes presented by politicians breached due-impartiality rules in 2024. Criticism is not persecution, Richard. If Cathy Newman got facts wrong, identify the facts and correct them. Calling the journalist an activist because you dislike the investigation is not a rebuttal.
