And has actually cost taxpayers about £500 MILLION! … and now they will fund another £600,000 for specialist consultants because ferry staff need training to handle imported LNG. And that LNG is imported via Kent before being transported hundreds of miles to Scotland…. Using diesel. After all of that, the CO₂ saving is less than 9% er …. And that’s optimistic! The entire exercise has been a pointless waste of Taxpayers money for private companies profit! … 🤡

Britain produces <1% of global CO₂. China: 30%. US: 14%. India: rising fast. We’ve already cut emissions 50%+ since 1990. Now we’re paying more for energy, shutting our own gas, and relying on wind/solar which are unreliable. Even if Britain hit net zero tomorrow, global emissions barely move. Build nuclear. Use our oil & gas. Lower costs.

After 38 years of UN-led Code Red rhetoric, the math is devastating. Not 0.1°C of warming reduced. Not one life saved. Not 1 ppm of CO₂ avoided. The price tag by 2050 will be $275 trillion - at $9.2 trillion every year (McKinsey, 2022). This is roughly 2.5 times the entire annual GDP of the world. Not one life has been saved from changing climate that could have been better protected by cheap, reliable energy. This is the ultimate belief gap. It's staggering. While the UN chased a global wealth redistribution bonanza, the cost to our future has been colossal. Imagine the world we could have built if that capital hadn't been poured into a failed ideology. The UN wealth redistribution scheme didn't save the planet, it just funded a new bureaucratic class. Reality is finally calling in the debt.
