I'm Tom Kean Jr., Republican congressperson from New Jersey, and just got back to work after 116 days off (March 5 - June 30).
Can you believe I missed more than 140 votes and still have a job?
But don't worry, I was paid the entire time. And my 100+ days in the hospital to treat my depression were covered by my world-class socialized medicine that I receive courtesy of America's taxpayers.
Now I will go back to doing everything in my power to deny healthcare coverage to as many people as I possibly can.
My record in the NJ Assembly (2001-2003), NJ Senate (2003-2022), and US Congress (2023-present) is clear.
I have voted against every attempt to expand medical coverage, provide paid medical leave, and protect consumers from out-of-control medical costs.
