A teacher at a primary school in #Assam's #Dhubri was #arrested after being accused of showing #objectionable and inappropriate content to #minor students during school hours.
Abdul Khaleque, an assistant teacher at Rashtrabhasha Hindi Primary School, was taken into custody by Dhubri Sadar Police following complaints from parents on February 24.
The incident came to light after distressed students informed their families, prompting parents to alert local authorities.
Ward Commissioner Joydeb Krishna Paul intervened, informed the school administration, and called the police as public outrage grew. Police have registered a #case and launched an #investigation, including #forensicexamination of the accused’s #mobilephone, while the school authorities have assured disciplinary action and reporting the matter to the education department.

#Telangana Chief Minister #RevanthReddy expressed Strong Displeasure over the use of Abusive, Objectionable language in the discourse on Social Media, especially YouTube, who calling themselves Journalists.
CM Revanth Reddy alleged that this “vicious and poisonous culture” where politicians and their family members, particularly women, were subjected to abusive and degrading language is spreading due to BRS leaders, he warned BRS Chief KCR, for allegedly encouraging such an unhealthy trend. Paid artists were used for abuse Chief Minister and his family members. He stated that he would take strict action against ‘rogue journalists’ within the framework of existing laws.
People may be stripped and paraded if objectionable comments are made; but I act according to law.
He recalled that even during the peak of the Telangana movement, journalists had refrained from using derogatory language.
He noted that certain media channels that resorted to satirical language at that time had faced temporary bans for one year.
