As a full time carer, I can’t just up and leave Melbourne. So on a post where I’m lamenting how negative the energy is Melbourne, someone writes this: “There’s no lock on the gate, you can leave if you want to #offyafuck” His name is Nicolas. He is the kind of person in Melbourne I’m talking about. Just toxic. There’s so many of them - they are cruel and heartless. I used to be proud of Melbourne - it was quirky and creative - but also friendly. It was Julian Assange: soft spoken, intelligent, rebellious, but still well mannered. Now it’s crass, stupid, and hateful. Shallow and narcissistic: like Sally, Nick and Dan. What a horrible person this guy is, and what a horrible role model for his children. But this is the draining, narcissistic, horrible Melbourne I’m talking about.
