Enough is enough. When a former BC Liberal cabinet minister can run to lead a so-called Conservative party, the truth is obvious: 👉 The party has been hijacked. 👉 It is not conservative. We already tried this. We tried a Liberal leading a Conservative party with John Rustad and that experiment failed. The moment Liberals were invited in, the party lost its identity, the centre collapsed, and the grassroots were pushed out and the rest walked away. Grassroots conservatives will NOT come back for another Liberal leader. Period. If people wanted BC Liberals or BC United, then they would have stayed there. They didn’t leave one Liberal party to rebuild it under the Conservative Name. This is happening across Canada, BC, Alberta, even federally where “big tent” politics means no principles, no backbone, and constant internal sabotage. Liberals and Conservatives are opposing ideologies. You cannot fuse them without destroying conservatism. 🔴 If you’re liberal - stay liberal. 🔴 Stop infiltrating conservative movements. 🔴 Stop hollowing them out from the inside. A movement that stands for everything stands for nothing. And grassroots conservatives are done pretending otherwise
