@transportkev @SavetheHellfire @zxyxyn @AnTaisce recommended #Kilakee Restaurant & SDCC consultants @PaulKeoghArch advised purchase of #Orlagh & both would still leave ample change to develop @rathfarnhamopw Castle Compound in a heritage & economic friendly manner @sdublincoco say they have no monies for it - untrue
@sdublincoco management never declared to Councillors that @PaulKeoghArch had recommended purchase of this building & grounds at #Orlagh - this was revealed in a Freedom of Information request. Something smells funny. Truth always comes out . @SavetheHellfire @KnocklyonNet
@SavetheHellfire @sdublincoco @wereontheditch @GTCost @KnocklyonNet @RathfarnhamHS @AnTaisce This makes my blood boil. It would have been a perfect base to explore the unspoiled beauty of the Hellfire. I believe there’s already a path connecting the two, plus car parking, cafe, interpretive centre. Literally ticked all the boxes. For under €3m. Impossible to comprehend
This is really important for people to know ie for SDCC not to purchase #Orlagh €2m and then to waste €22m destroying our magnificent Massy’s Wood & Hellfire is a #culturecrime but worse we fear is to come with their Rathfarnham Castle plans #SaveRathfarnham @SavetheHellfire
Imagine @sdublincoco said this beautiful building (Orlagh Country House) did not have the WOW factor and opted instead to splurge over €22M at the Hellfire.
Guess who carried out the survey & guess who's building the #VanityProject? #capacity #PublicFunds
Any info on this on display in #BallyroanLibrary ? Is this proper public consultation if it is just online?
We have emailed @sdublincoco but Roads Mgt refuse to engage with us
Important to get all parts of the community to #haveyoursay esp after the #Orlagh #Roundabout #Aarhus
Old Bawn to Ballyboden Active Travel Scheme consultation is now live, we would be delighted to hear from you on it, please make a submission by clicking on the link below

@rougles1987 @SavetheHellfire @KnocklyonNet @coilltenews @sdublincoco @WildWoodstown @HellfireMassy @SaveKnocklyonPk @KnocklyonNet has always espoused the concept of proper planning & sustainable dev & it was KN that first proposed that #Orlagh be bought by @sdublincoco @ a fraction of the cost of the €22m white 🐘 #lostopportunity ( SDCC’s own @PaulKeoghArch advised purchase ) - See why ⬇️
@SavetheHellfire @sdublincoco @fcemurphy @GTCost @conor_feehan @KnocklyonNet @JohnLahart @dublin_network @dublin_discover @codohertynews @think_or_swim Didn’t actually say that Jess - said SDCC failed to do an RSA #bigmistake they did same with #Orlagh Roundabout
Have u not read up on site selection process? Other sites more suitable with the existing 🚌 were ignored by @sdublincoco as this would not open Hellfire up for dev.
@GTCost @FNDuffy @SavetheHellfire @CoillteOutdoors @coilltenews @sdublincoco @greenparty_ie @HellfireMassy @EamonRyan @saoirse_mchugh @TheKavOfficial @IrelandTrust @Dept_ECC @EcofactEcology @KnocklyonNet App the site selection process used by @sdublincoco 👉it needed 2b owned by @coilltenews 👉to quote @PaulKeoghArch #Orlagh was a protected structure & it did not have the ‘wow’ factor 👉quite a jaw dropping moment to hear that 👉yet it was recommended by PKA that SDCC shld buy it
Is this a good time to talk abt how we could spend the €22m while the🐿 🦡 🦦 🦇 take their case 2 #CJEU Lux 🇱🇺?
Perhaps take @PaulKeoghArch advice & buy #Orlagh ?
Were @sdublincoco Cllrs ever told abt this? In a post COVID era surely #clearthinking shld match #clearskies ?
Elected members in South Dublin County Council voted on Monday to reduce the rate of Local Property Tax (LPT) by 15%. The changes will be made to bills issued from 1 November 2021.

Can we start with the business proposal of the #Hellfire vanity project ? We cld take it from the #Fantasy section & put it in the #Horror section then #recycle an old building like #Orlagh or #Killakee Restaurant as @AnTaisce & @FNDuffy have said @SavetheHellfire @KnocklyonNet
Are you interested in making your business more sustainable? SDCC and the Local Enterprise Office are inviting businesses to attend an information seminar. To register to attend the event on 31st March at 10am email [email protected] #sdccclimateaction
@SavetheHellfire @FNDuffy @BicycleNetwork @sdublincoco @HellfireMassy @DublinGreening @theRiverField @DeptHousingIRL @Dept_ECC @DeptCulturelRL @MassyFriends @conor_feehan So your proposal for @sdublincoco to buy #Orlagh which is accessible by bus & but 2 fields away from #Hellfire (another Marley Park of sorts) is the obvious solution for a sustainable tourism project which SDCC’s own consultants recommended for SDCC to buy @KnocklyonNet @GTCost
@SavetheHellfire @BallybodenTT @ODonovanDeirdre @IrishWater @scholarstownre1 @WallsConstruct @rtenews @TheEchoOnline @KnocklyonNet @fiannafailparty @JohnLahart @yvonnecollinsff @ladublinoise @sdublincoco It is misery for residents in our area @IWCare @sdublincoco but when Cllr O’Donovan votes for #SHDs in the #PFG and @JohnLahart takes a stand to vote against it - u get 2 know what kind of representation is on offer. Between voting 4 #Orlagh #Roundabout & #SHDs in #PFG #Shame
@glendoherpark @BallybodenTT @ODonovanDeirdre @IrishWater @scholarstownre1 @WallsConstruct @rtenews @TheEchoOnline @KnocklyonNet @fiannafailparty @JohnLahart @yvonnecollinsff @ladublinoise @sdublincoco Thought we were the only one's this Cllr didn't want to interact with! So much for local representation! A little glance at @sdublincoco Mission Statement again might refresh the memory! #Orlagh #Review #wednesdaythought
But @sdublincoco @DeptCulturelRL @TourismIreland @Failte_Ireland we have got to talk about the #white🐘 in the room & come up with #sustainabletourism projects 24k people have echoed this - 💡 so let’s buy #Orlagh @SavetheHellfire
@KnocklyonNet @HellfireMassy @AnTaisce @GTCost

@fcemurphy @jimfitzpatrick @SavetheHellfire @anniewestdotcom @sligococo @opwireland @sdublincoco @HellfireMassy @KnocklyonNet @SweetmanPeter @TallaghtComCo @DublinsHistoric @IrelandTrust @AnTaisce @dublin_network The objective re #Hellfire is 2 build a 3km sewer up the mountains thus opening up agri lands for dev. Large tracts have been purchased. #Orlagh owners have a rezoning request in for example. Just look what @anbordpleanala allowed in #Scholarstown 🙊🙈👇👇

Had @sdublincoco bought #Orlagh for €2m then City Dwellers could have jumped on a bus from The Quays & walked to the Hellfire as it is but 2 fields away (using a negotiated access license with farmers).
You could weep at the shameful lack of vision of @SDCC & @PaulKeoghArch
Dublin sits at the foot of the largest expanse of uplands in Ireland - it could be the most amazing place for people to connect with nature but is currently a combo of tree farm and burnt out sheep ranch

Orlagh looking magnificent!!Nice job @mediapro_ie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
#Orlaghcountryhouse #Orlagh #Venuesireland https://t.co/PORQCQjGeL via @YouTube
@ian_lumley @SavetheHellfire @HellfireMassy @anbordpleanala @coilltenews You can also add @sdublincoco to that list. Had SDCC bought #Orlagh it would have been on a bus route and 2 fields of a walk to the top of #hellfire . €22m #vanityproject to fix something that €5m could have. @KnocklyonNet @IrelandKeep
A Question of
‘do as I say but not as I do’ @PaulKeoghArch ?
Yr shameful recommendation 2 @sdublincoco that #Orlagh didn’t have the ‘wow factor’ & it was a Protected Structure were the reasons why SDCC didn’t buy it 4 their Dublin Mtn Centre & instead u prop yr €22m white 🐘
This was never considered by @sdublincoco in their matrix as @Coilltenews doesn’t own #golfclub so🤞@cathmartingreen finds a way to get @sdublincoco to look at things differently, going thru front door, backdoor, window, chimney etc Imagine #Orlagh was dismissed 🙄 @KnocklyonNet
@mickdgoat @thedoggynetwork @SavetheHellfire @WineyRich @sdublincoco @HellfireMassy @AnTaisce @IrelandKeep @DodderAction @pippa_hackett @dublin_network @GTCost @AllPeopleAllNa1 @PaddyWoodworth @coilltenews @AnTaisce in their sub 2 ABP rec Steward’s Hse ie fmr #Killakee Restaurant wld wth its outbldgs be a better loc 4 such a project. @KnocklyonNet proposed #Orlagh but both were ruled out bcause neither were owned by Coillte. The bottom line the feasibility study was predetermined
