I guess the people are still quibbling on what "staged" actually means in the context of these video snippets. I was not suggesting anything was "faked / staged". I fully believe everything is real in this video and @bellingcat has apparently determined via #OSNT that this was a sequential video where this particular man went back and retrieved a second weapon and then walked back again to deposit the second weapon in the pile. One time carrying a weapon in the right hand and another time carrying another weapon in the left hand. My point that this was staged for the cameras is the fact that they even created and published a video like this ..... of a Palestinian man making multiple trips to retrieve and carry a weapon to a pile in his underwear. It serves ZERO tactical sense to do it twice and as many have pointed out it would be idiotic and dangerous for everyone in involved.
These are the suggested steps for a mass surrender and the sequence makes the most sense:
1. Order the armed men to throw away their guns and raise their hands.
2. Ask them to take clothes off for hidden weapons/vest check.
3. Move them away from where they were taken and where the weapons were discarded.
4. Scan the area and secure the guns and weapons caches.
Sending suspected militants back to a weapons cache to bring more guns is dangerous and idiotic, at any moment he may change his mind and decide to fight back and create a really bloody mass casualty event for the IDF.
The fact that they were comfortable sending him back to retrieve a second weapon makes the whole scenario suspicious and frankly seems it was done for propaganda purposes.
