Unbelievable. @EU_Competition still think they fixed it with some promise not to use #data for #advertising & some wonky interoperability remedy to shut up the complainants, *nothing* on the real issue which is using #our_data for #health_tech. Nothing.

Again: no. Not only are the remedies eminently circumventable (who is going to police them, the usual “trustee”?) but they (list below too) miss the big point: use of #our_data in #health_tech applications. This is not about advertising: Google is already a monopolist there. 1/

I know there is a lot of interest for this transaction. We approved Google buying Fitbit because of commitments: no use of health data for ads, interoperability between wearables and Android is safeguarded and users can share data with others if they want. https://t.co/veSYlBxjP5
