We played a game of ‘Honey Tree Hive’. We had to carefully remove leaves from the tree without making the bees fall from their hive. It was a great way to help us practice the concepts of more and less and adding on one more #pcpmaths

Today is the start of our biscuit World Cup! The biscuits went head to head as we did a taste test & then used tally marks to represent our favourite. We counted up the scores to see which biscuit was through to the quarters! Who says maths has to be boring? Not us! #pcpmaths 🍪

We looked at pictures of different sports. We talked about how each one is played & if it’s a sport we had tried. We used mini photographs of ourselves to vote for our favourite. We tallied up the votes and talked about which sport was liked the most & which the least #pcpmaths

We kicked off sports week with some brilliant obstacle course building, outdoors. We thought about the positional language we learnt about last week and ensured we could have spaces to go under and over, up and down, in front and behind #pcppe #pcpmaths

We took part in a pirate scavenger hunt. We followed a map to take us through Pirate Blackbeard’s assault course. At each key point we had to look at a sign and count how many times it wanted us to complete an action, such as jumping, hopping etc. #pcppe #pcpmaths
