@Steve_Cranfield @iain_d_cross #PGCILT has been a really valuable exercise for me, consolidating lots of stuff I knew bits about and helping me understand more about the research frameworks for education research. Would recommend anyone interested in being a better lecturer enrol in what your uni offers.

Just had my #PGCILT viva with @Steve_Cranfield and @iain_d_cross. Good to get it squared away and talk about some of the stuff I've been doing over the last year and the stuff I wish I had time to get around to. Have provisionally passed my research proposal assessment too. Yay!

It’s been a busy morning in Putrajaya. We have had an information session for #PGCertTL students thinking about joining the programme in September, a discussion with Prof. Deb Hall about positive psychology and a catch up with former #PGCILT students two years after graduation.

@kathmoreilly @GdnUniversities @allisonl Sounds good. The current obsession with packed synchronous timetables has me worried and the zoom fatigue I’m feeling surely can not be conducive to effective learning #pgcilt

Attended a thought-provoking lunch-time #online discussion about #university online #teaching, tnks @GdnUniversities @allisonl for hosting... courses must b different - replication of F2F not possible, students tend to prefer asynchronous learning, no 1hr online lectures. #pgcilt

Had a #lshtm student assessment - on math modelling of outbreaks - #online today that would usually involve ~7 in a room. I think it went well, previous experience of using #Blackboard #Collaborate was really handy, thanks @JennyFog! #PGcilt
