#ai #phpcore I thought the TrueAsync Scheduler integration code was only about 30–50 lines, so #AI should have had no trouble understanding it. That's why I asked Fable to help me port the Scheduler for the new RFC. What could possibly go wrong? Fable produced a solution where almost none of the roughly 50 lines of code were actually correct. Yes, it looked very similar, but it was completely unworkable. The reason is that the Scheduler code only appears simple at first glance. In reality, it handles hundreds of different conditions that arise in an asynchronous PHP core. I have to admit that even I cannot keep all of those conditions in mind, which is why async requires a fairly extensive test suite. Unfortunately, AI isn't capable of doing this work on its own yet :)
