Question : I've heard (a lot),that " Select * " is bad, performance wise, and it's better to list the desired columns , My question is that,if the table has 12 columns , again in this situation, listing all 12 columns is better than select* ?? !! Why? #PL_SQL

I have a question regarding #bind_variables 1) Is it ALWAYS good to use bind variables when writing a dynamic query? 2)Does it always lead to a better performance if you use them in your code? #Oracle #PL_SQL

Are there any differences between these two , performance wise ?? Query: Select <columns> From <table> option 1 --> where date between d1 and d2 option 2 --> where date >= d1 and date <=d2 The table is partitioned based on "date" column. #Oracle #PL_SQL
