THREAD: Seven years ago a local TV station ran a racist news story based on the police union’s inaccurate interpretation of a photo I took. The story was so racist it made national headlines. The TV station never apologized. And I started thinking about going into journalism.
Probably should’ve added #pointergate
Never forget #pointergate, which should have been all anyone needed to see to know that the police union is aggressively anti-reform and a safe harbor for racists. And that KSTP sucks.
