They weren't asking for the moon; they were fighting for their academic future. How did the #Congress_government 's police respond? Not with dialogue, but with brute force. Shocking footage from the protest shows CI Ragupathi Reddy physically grabbing and choking students by the neck. Let that sink in. Police officers meant to protect the public are physically suffocating young students who are simply asking questions about their own education. And where is Rahul Gandhi? The same leader who never misses an opportunity to give long, passionate lectures on student rights, freedom of speech, and democracy is suddenly out of words. Is the "Mohabbat ki Dukaan" closed for the diploma students of Telangana? Does police brutality only matter when it's politically convenient to talk about it? Selective outrage has to stop. A student's right to peacefully protest is fundamental, no matter which party is in power.
