#projectbean 3 weeks ago I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl. Motherhood is harder than anything I could have imagined and it’s been a struggle but little bean is happy and healthy and that’s all that matters. And she’s the most gorgeous baby I ever did see! 💖 #ivf

#projectbean update: Happy I can finally say the first round of #IVF treatment worked and tomorrow I'll be 14 weeks pregnant with a baby girl 💙 It's nothing like I've imagined, it's 100 times harder, and I'm still terrified :)

#projectbean surgery to collect eggs done, recovering at home. McDonald’s on the way because I’m also still a child who needs junk food when she’s in pain. #IVF

#projectbean update: about to do the trigger injection that’ll release my eggs, ready for surgery Tuesday morning. Gotta say, not going to miss needles or feeling like this. #IVF

I just gave myself the first injection. Guess this is happening, hey? It's such a mind game, I stared at the needle for 5min working up the courage to do it and then I barely felt anything! #projectbean #ivf

#projectbean update: can't escape the paperwork. We just picked the donor, so a tiny insignificant decision 😳 *insert nervous breakdown*

Counselling was surprisingly good and helpful. Got another session in a week and one more specialist appointment and then we can get started, I think. #projectbean

#projectbean update: looks like we'll be doing IVF. Not what I was hoping to do and I'll need a bit more time to come to terms with it but hey, it is what it is. And I'll do whatever it takes. Which includes attending counselling tomorrow. Oh joy!

#ProjectBean update: I told my boss today. We're actually really good friends and I don't need the added stress of having to make up excuses why I have to leave early/come in late etc. He's super happy for us :)

#projectbean update (which is the codename the wife and I picked for the whole baby thing): I’m having a TVU and Sonohysterogram tomorrow which will decide if we’re doing IUI or IVF (or neither...) and I’m super glad it’s cold enough to use my anxiety blanket.
