he did this by raising a motion to refer a vote about calling a strike auth vote (SAV) to the Executive Council BEFORE the Delegate Assembly gets a chance to debate it. We can see that this new regime is going to involve much of the same. #PSCDA

The issue of a strike authorization vote given health & safety concerns just arose. As someone just wrote into the chat, James Davis’s very first action as new PSC President—even before taking office—is to functionally prevent the membership from debating SAV. #PSCDA

The first resolution passes with an amendment. The second resolution is in solidarity with SFSU, where proponents of Palestinian rights have been targeted and their academic freedom violated. #PSCDA
