Part 3 - uPoW & The Trilemma The Principle of Efficacy and the decision paradox have shown that mankind needs a so called hard money to regain its effectiveness, something like bitcoin. Let me continue with another analogy: Imagine Bitcoin is like a big, public ledger where all transactions are recorded. Everyone can see the ledger, but no one can change the entries. It's like a huge shared diary that is shared by many people. On the other hand, $Qubic is like a network of small, intelligent robots that can collect and process information and perform actions, just like bees. These robots can interact with the Bitcoin ledger by analysing data and making decisions based on the information they find. So, if Bitcoin is the public ledger, Qubic is the team of robots working to read that ledger, recognise patterns and do useful things with it, such as automatically paying bills or settling contracts. Together, Bitcoin and $Qubic can and will form a strong foundation for the future of the digital economy. Unlike Bitcoin, $Qubic uses a consensus named *useful proof of work* or *proof of usefull work* , means both the same. UPoW could be thought of as an improved, more efficient engine for the robots in our Qubic network. It's like an upgrade that allows the robots to work faster and more energy efficiently, much like a car with an eco-friendly hybrid engine. Now to the cryptocurrency trilemma: This states that it is difficult to find a system that is decentralised, secure and scalable at the same time. It's like trying to build a car that is extremely secure, but at the same time cheap and fast. It's a challenge to optimise all three aspects at the same time. So, while Bitcoin and Qubic can work together to manage the ledger and perform smart actions, they also need to make sure that their system is decentralised, secure and scalable. It's like the challenge of building a car that is safe, environmentally friendly and fast at the same time. One complements the other, while one forms the constant and the other the optimization.
