Zerodha’s investment arm, #Rainmatter, has acquired a 5% stake in #Capitalmind Financial Services ( SEBI-registered portfolio manager ).
Stake Limit –
As per #SEBI rules, #Rainmatter’s stake is capped at 10%; no board seat will be taken to maintain Capitalmind’s independence.
Objective –
Support innovative fintech and investment companies that help Indians manage money better.
Gap in Advisory Ecosystem –
Capitalmind notes that the professional fee-only advisory market hasn’t scaled as expected, making investing complex for many.
Product Vision –
