In this way, #raitas are very much reminiscent of self styled Hindu leaders of the 18th-19th century like Ram Mohan Roy or even Nehru. They aimed to shape Hinduism and India by annealing it with "enlightenment values". In way accepting Euro supremacy and seeking validation.
