In rural Xinjiang, ancient skills live on. As a child, my father taught me to craft the Rawap—today, I proudly share our Uyghur musical heritage with the world. Simple village life, rich with tradition. #Xinjiang #IntangibleCulturalHeritage #Rawap #RuralLife

The #Rawap is a traditional stringed instrument primarily used in #Uyghur and Central Asian music. It is an essential instrument in Uyghur folk and classical music, especially in the Maqam tradition, a rich musical system of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, China
