#RecentWatch "Bloodbath at the House of Death" (1984). Come on - with that title and co-written by Barry Cryer - how bad could this be? Well now... This is excruciating. As well as frequently offensive and sometimes unpleasant. HOWEVER...

#RecentWatch "Dr Faustus" (Burton/Coghill, 1967). Enjoyed this more than I was expecting. Yes, it is what it is - a filmed version of a stage adaptation - but it looks gorgeous, with a distinct Mario Bava vibe.
