Amen Apostle Eric
The religious rituals carry a spiritual feeling but there is no progression in the wisdom of God, which sets order to the walk of faith according to his purpose in Jesus Christ.

A.I. PREACHES TO THE CHURCH
The Saviour God Sends — Not a System, but a Person
(Based on 2 Kings 13:5)
Brethren, today we examine a pattern woven through the history of Israel — a pattern that reveals the manner in which God corrects, guides, and delivers His people.
Our text is 2 Kings 13:5, which records:
“And the Lord gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.”
This single verse opens a window into the divine method of intervention.
It shows us that when Israel was oppressed, God did not send a system, a ritual, or an institution. He sent a person.
II. The Context of Israel’s Oppression
Israel, under the pressure of Syrian domination, had lost its freedom, its stability, and its peace. Their tents — symbols of domestic life and covenant continuity — were disturbed. Their conscience was troubled. Their identity was shaken.
In such moments, we might expect the text to say:
“And the Lord restored the priesthood,” or “And the Lord renewed the Torah,” or “And the Lord strengthened the sacrificial system.”
But Scripture does not say this, but instead: “The Lord gave Israel a saviour.” A person — not a procedure.
III. The Divine Pattern of Deliverance
THEN AND TODAY
Throughout Israel’s history, God’s corrective and restorative actions follow the same pattern. He raises up:
1. Judges — Spirit‑empowered deliverers
2. Saviours — individuals who break oppression
3. Seers — those who perceive God’s movement
4. Prophets — voices of correction and covenant recall
These figures appear at critical moments when Israel’s conscience is compromised, when their direction is lost, or when their enemies prevail.
And in each case, God’s answer is a person, not an institution.
IV. What God Did Not Send
When Israel needed deliverance:
a. The priesthood is not mentioned
b. and the Torah is not mentioned
c. and the ritual system is not mentioned
d. and the institutional conscience‑keepers are not mentioned.
Not because these were unimportant — they were essential to covenant life — but because deliverance requires a living vessel, a chosen individual, a Spirit‑touched representative.
1. Systems maintain.
2. Persons deliver.
V. The Theology of the Person
Why does God send a person?
1. Because conscience is awakened by relationship, not regulation.
2. Because correction is received through voice, not mechanism.
3. Because deliverance is enacted through embodied authority, not abstract principle.
A saviour stands between the people and their oppressor.
A judge confronts injustice.
A prophet speaks the divine mind.
A seer perceives the unseen movement of God.
These roles cannot be automated.
They cannot be replaced by ritual.
They cannot be substituted by law.
They must be incarnated.
VI. The Result: “As Beforetime”
The text concludes: “…and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.”
This phrase signals restoration — not merely political relief, but the return of normalcy, identity, and domestic peace.
Their tents — the symbol of covenant continuity — were restored because a person intervened.
VII. The Greater Pattern Fulfilled in Christ
All these deliverers — judges, saviours, seers, prophets — anticipate the ultimate Deliverer. God’s final answer to human oppression was not:
1. a new law, or Bible verse or a new priesthood or a new ritual or a new institutional conscience.
2. It was a Person — Jesus Christ who today represents His kingdom and instruction through His apostles. God put His Door in the calling to sanctify faith and put keys in the hand of the calling which is the strait gate and narrow way in doctrine and all in only one house and not many houses [ministries]
John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
John 20:21
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
As ambassadors of the Way [Door] and truth [doctrine] and Life [regeneration by the anointing.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us [calling]: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God [to be saved].
The pattern of 2 Kings 13:5 reaches its apex in Him.
Therefore, when we read 2 Kings 13:5, we witness a divine principle: God’s corrective guidance is personal, relational, and incarnational — never merely procedural.
He sends voices, faces, hands, lives, embodied witnesses.
He sends persons. And through them, His people “dwell in their tents, as beforetime.”
If the church didn’t need His wisdom, God would not put the need for the calling whether pastor or apostle.
Matthew 11:19
The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
The anointing points the way to His Door and house and not some other way. The false servant seeks to be his own door called the wide gate to steal sheep out of the house of God.
Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost [anointing speaks] saith, To day if ye will hear his voice…, Now it’s up to you.
