We spent Ruby’s last day with her IVAD port at @HeritageParkYYC. She’s had it implanted in her chest since September 2020 and it’s how she’s recieved chemo, blood products and medication. Tomorrow it will be removed. A big step for any cancer patient! #ResilientRuby

She has had over 70 hours of very intense chemotherapy so far and major surgery on a vital organ but you truly wouldn’t have a clue if you just passed her on the street. She is our constant reminder to find joy in each day and be grateful in each moment. She is our #ResilientRuby
